You’re in the mood for some authentic Chinese cuisine this weekend. You know that there are some restaurants in the city that will cater to your needs but you don’t know their location or how good they are. So how do you find out about such cuisine gems?

Worry not because Google, your friend at work is also your friend at lunch. Google Search will help you find out your favourite restaurants. Not only that it gives you a map with the location of the restaurant. And to top it all, it also gives you the reviews that other users may have posted about the restaurant.

How to you do this? Very simple as you can see below.

Say you want to find some authentic Chinese restaurants in New York. Just type ‘New York Chinese food’ in Google Search.

This type of Google search not only works for restaurants but for literally any business that you want to search for. So if you want to search for a hair salon, you can type ‘New York hair salon’ or it you want to search for a hospital, you can type, ‘New York hospital’ and you will get a list of that particular business in the New York area.

Usually we use Google search to search for anything that we need to have more information about such as cars, books, places, etc. But did you know that Google search can give your the weather of your location, it can show you the movie timings at your nearest theatre, it can act as a dictionary or a calculator? And these are just a few of the many things that Google as the Swiss Army Knife of search can do.

Typing weather in Google search will give you the day’s weather for your location. If you give the name of any location such as a city, Google search will give you the day’s weather for that location.

You can also get the sunrise and sunset time for your location by using sunrise or sunset in your Google search respectively. If you give the name of any location such as a city, Google search will give you the sunrise or sunset time for that particular location.
